Am in Colorado which is a dry climate . 2001 until 2006 my birds / fowl were high hatchets. So much that I didn't need to re purchase from my original birds. Then it dwindled and then then barely to nothing even with bringing in new birds.. This year it's crazy with so far full hatches of chicks and the goslings..
Could the sudden change of successful hatching, be, because of the returns of rains, pair'd with just the perfect quick high temps bringing in high moisture to a past years of dry drought in a dry air climate.. It was so bad from the start of pre spring this year, that I lost a full load of hay that I thought might catch on fire to have to pull it all apart.
Always so very happy to see my birds successful for all the time they spend sitting on their nest.. Especially the Geese as they are so sensitive ..
