I like to feed a ration formulated for ducks. Purina has a flock raiser that I've used with success. I personally have never added anything. I generally feed the starter for around 8-12 weeks before switching to a maintenance all flock ration.

Ok thank you just heard they need niacin to help with there development but if your ducks turned out fine I have nothing to worry about :)

They DO need niacin for their legs, it’s just that Purina has enough niacin in their feed already for most ducklings / ducks.
If you need to add niacin, Nutritional / Brewers yeast is great. 1 tbsp per cup of feed.

What feed are you providing them? Generally, you only need to add additional niacin while they’re growing, or for about 8 weeks. Some hefty breeds, like Pekins, may need a sprinkle of extra niacin for their entire lives / a high-niacin feed.

I’d add Nutritional yeast over their Chuck crum daily 1 Tablespoon for each cup of feed till 10-12 weeks Pekins are known to get Niacin deficiency so better to give it once hatched and hopefully not have to deal with a deficiency.
