Raising California Valley Quail in N.H.

Hey everybody! I'm new to the forum and i'm struggling finding the answer to a question I have. Does anybody know if I need to get a special permit to raise California Valley Quail in New Hampshire? Thanks in advance!

Every state has their own regulations and so you might have to call your N.H. Fish and Game Department. If I were to guess, the answer is no since California quail are not native to New Hampshire. In my state, they are native so I do need to have a license to keep them.
