Hello Everyone,

My wife and I found this site recently. We currently have 10 RIR's that are 2 months old. Later on we hope to get other breeds as well.

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided to join our flock. Which part of Oklahoma do your live in? My wife and I lived in McAlester, OK for a while. Hi and its nice to meet everyone. We live near Shawnee. We really like the site and the fact it has so much information. A friend suggested RIRs to start. There are other breeds we want to raise too after we are able to build more coops and runs. We have a 4 yr old daughter we adopted from China who loves the RIRs and she is excited about getting more.
 
Raising poultry is a nice hobby for the family. Kids + chickens = fun!
