Raising colored rangers with other chicks?

I know that raising cornish x with layers is a bad idea. Is the same true for the colored rangers, or are they enough like a "real chicken"?

I been told they do fine with others.

They will do fine with others.

Right now I have turkey poults,marans chicks and colored rangers all in the same brooder house together, no problems.

It is funny to see a chicken out growing a turkey at a young age.

Cool, thanks for that info... I will obviously separate them from my layers before they go to the freezer!
