I have ordered some ducks with this years chick order ( I don't know why) will it be ok to put them together in the same chicken pen when they are adults. They will be white piekiens, and I have BOs, Plymouth rocks, Dominique bantams, and brown leghorns.

I think the one thing that is the biggest issue is that ducks can't have the medicated feed. I don't think having the ducks/chickens together in general is bad, just keeping feeding separate would be an issue.

I have my ducklings with my chicks.. the chicks are about a week older.. They are mostly roos I'm afraid.. but they seem to get along okay. I agree with keeping the bedding dry. The ducks love to play in the water.

I am feeding them all a medicated feed.. As long as it is medicated with amprol/amprolium it is my thought that they will be fine. Mine have been. You can google this and find all the info you need. Many on here use the medicated/amprol/amprolium for their ducklings, although you may find some that disagree with that.. I have read many who have with no issues, and some that have with issues.. So it's your call.

Hope this helps..

, and ruined their waterer. i wouldn't reccomend it though. we sold our ducks because of that.
