Hi I have chicks and turkeys that are a month old, and I was wondering if I got guineas that were a month old, would they be able to live with my chicks and turkeys that are a month old? Or would they need to be seperate? Can they eat chick starter/grower?

Also, any extra tips on raising guinea fowl would be helpful! Thanks

The best way to introduce anything to guineas or anything to guineas is gradually! If I need to pen something together I always start the newbies out in a pen within the pen, There is always going to be a pecking order, less so the younger the birds, then watch them..

Start on a good Pheasant or Turkey starter feed (28% to 30% protein). I mix a little chick starter in for the first week or so...
PeepsCA is the expert but I think that is what she would say.

Ok thanks! When you say turkey feed does that mean that gamebird starter/grower will work? I have a bag of that too for my ducks.
