Raising meaties questions

I want to raise enough meaties to feed mine and daughters family this year. So after looking around here, I need to build a portable tractor out of PVC and chicken wire, cover with a tarp if rains, offer feed 12 hrs/day, Is this right?

There are as many ways to raise meat birds as there are people that raise them.

I raised mine in a coop with a run along side my layers and chicks. I let them roam around the yard during the day and they returned back to the coop at night.

When they are chicks in a brooder you will probably want to keep the feed restricted so they aren't continually gorging themselves.

thiers alot of way to raise them I have to raise mine in a shed and let them outside if the weather is good. I would like to try a tractor but i just dont think it would go over all that way to many coons,foxes,coytoes.
