Raisins and chickens

Can you feed chickens oatmeal with raisins? I know my girls love oatmeal

- but am wondering if raisins are OK to feed them.

Gosh, I hope so. Mine have gotten lots of food with raisins in it! And there are lots of raisins in the bird seed I put out and the chickens are constantly under my bird feeder. No one seems to have gotten sick in all the years I have been doing it.

My dentist says raisins are not good for chickens...they'll rot their teeth...hahahha! Just kiddin'....Yes I dont see why not...not a everyday thing or to much at a time...Go for it!...they love oatmeal...

I give them to my girls.

No problems so far, but others may tell you different. I can;t see a problem as long as it is a treat.
