Careful, he looks shifty. Like he's sizing you up to see if you're going to either feed him or be a carpet bombing victim of his gang.

I only gave them peas and not bread as they are accustomed to so I'm guessing it's the carpet bombing for me.

Perhaps domestics, but wild dumpster rats they are bad news. They are well-documented carriers for histoplasmosis and crytptococcsis.
