I know deaths are a natural thing, but I came home and went out to collect eggs and found my 2 year old hen stiff dead facing and next to the feeder. Id say she choked on something but the thing that is getting me worried is the fact that her comb, wattles, and face were a DARK purple? She was 100% normal the night before, also she is a 9 1/2 lb New Hampshire so could it be a heart attack? I need to know ASAP before it gets dark and I bury her to make sure it wont be a problem.
