ok, well I read that pilgrim males were white with blue eyes......ours is, and our female is the brown one.....they do not look like either breed to me, and I bought them not knowing what they were......
Chinese are very prolific breeders, so that will be a good way to enlarge your flock if you indeed have 1 male and 1 female. It's impossible to tell from the photos.
The knob on the heads were the giveaway, along with the long slender neck. Also, the Chinese have a 'honk' completely unique to themselves. No other geese sound quite like them.
Geese should be in pairs. Ducks dont have to be.

Ducks dont need to be in pairs, although its best if their are more males then females. ( 1 male to every 2-3 females )
