First please pardon all my 100 questions im always asking

I'm a first timer but is it normal for a duck to stand up an tuck his head and sleep this is the first time I have ever seen it kinda random but just curious

Totally normal.
I grew up with a Pekin duck and she would always sleep like that.
I’ve seen wild ducks do it too.

Not just ducks, but almost all birds do this. Its a sign that they're comfortable with wherever they are sleeping. Totally normal.

Sometimes they will stand on just one leg and tuck the other one under them.

Thanks for everyone's input I had this huge theory he wouldn't go to sleep laying down till dry I'm crazy when it come to him

Cool fact, if his eye facing up is open, only half his brain is asleep. His eye is still scanning for danger. He'll switch sides at some point. (I hope I'm not mia-quoting this).

The first time my ducks stood with a foot up, I freaked out and thought something terrible happened!
