Decided to let my lavendar pair out the barn today after a three week lockdown. They have stayed close but it is driving my three pearls who are in a pen crazy. They keep calling to them. I think they are jealous lol.

thats good. thats what i did. only let 2 out after 1 WEEK lock down and the first two stayed. the others took off. now i know better to wait longer. but let me know how it goes with the pearls getting let out.

I keep mine penned for at least 6 weeks. Guineas seem to take a long time to learn where home is and I hate chasing them out of trees and/or into the coop at night.

I'll just be happy to get mine out of the house! They smell a lot worse than chicks and seem to really love spilling their food. Good incentive for me to finish their coop space!

I wish mine would wander! I got 2 of them as keets and raised them in with some chicks. I let the guinea's out so they would free range and help with some of the problem and also let out a quad of little bantams. The guinea's would not leave the fence line. All day long trying to get back in with the chickens. The bantams do way more wandering than the guinea's.
