So we had a few eggs passed their date, this is ... what we saw... the air sac was covering half the egg on most. If not more No signs of movement etc

Can I ask what you would presume from this please?
Because I made the mistake of thinking they’re probably not alive anymore , and the air sac was too large... all online info claims its usually a moisture issue and we had no moisture issues , I’m not only in the process of trying to find answers to my questions but also in the process of answering the questions I keep asking but you can’t find any advice online.

I made the mistake of cracking an egg thinking it was dead. I was wrong. I don’t like being wrong but I hate it more when I’m wrong but can’t find any advice or help when I need it. I basically killed a bird today because the birds egg was 3/4 air sac and 1/ bird. Who can think this and actually be satisfied with any helpful replies?

Who can google bird help with a dodgy foot or a sore face and actually get a response on google that helps?

It doesn’t even provide me with a bird vet. All I get is this website and it often takes hours for a reply.

Anywho, I ranted a bit and probably skipped myself point a few times but- my point is there- if you’d read it.

Questions for you...

What type of incubator are you using?
Does it have a fan or no fan?
What temp and humidity for the first 25 days?
What temp and humidity after that?
Are you using extra temp/humidity sensors that are calibrated?
Are there any bruises on the eggs?

“Not a moisture issue”
So without arguing or debating the humidity which was between 56-65 to in total as it was constantly monitored, not that it’s relevant ... hence my first post. And yes at the end it changed, to be relevant for the ducks.

I am using an incubator that auto turns , Ive used it with auto and without, its own “temp” that I recalibrated because my three digitals I used within gave different temp.
It has a fan to cool heat.
No bruises or anything on the eggs , again, I’m not sure why humidity was an issue as I already stated it wasn’t “incorrect” . 🤷‍♀️

We have hatched five with no issues, no change in anything. Same stuff. Same incubator, same everything. No issues.

In my experience your humidity levels have been too high so I have to disagree with you thinking that is hasn't been incorrect.
Did you salt test your humidity gauge?

The egg with the question mark in the photo picture above does not look good.

Sorry, but 56-65% humidity for the first 23 days, is way too high, unless you are talking about lockdown. The egg in question doesn't look too good.
