A friend of mine has bred Campines with the extremely rare and beautiful color variation "Chamois" as well as the regular Golden Campines.
In Chamois Campines, the black bars of the Golden Campines are replaced by white bars, which makes them unique amongst chicken breeds in the US.
Some of the pullets and cockerels he has may well be exhibition quality.
Both the golden and chamois varieties are good layers of medium-sized white eggs.
He needs to reduce his flock size and is therefore looking for interested poultry-enthusiasts.
