I willll help you judge, and donate a prize if you like. Same as last time, but hopefully I will have invested in some colours by then. I only have Red Star chickens and I don't suppose they are rare.

Just curious....what constitutes a 'rare' chicken?

What criteria will the pictures be judged on? Is it a chicken 'photo' competition, or is it judged on how close a rare chicken conforms to the Standard of Perfection sort of thing?

*lol* I don't know, that's why I asked you

Some breeds of chickens are rare in North America, but may not be rare in a worldly sense or vice versa. Also, some types of chickens are not rare, but some colors within a type are....as an example, mille fleur cochins. Does a type/color have to be listed in the Standard of Perfection? Or are breeds from around the world counted?

Also, what criteria are you looking for in photos? I only ask as I've seen some contest results that have be baffled as to how the results were arrived at.

These are rare bantams, at least the colors, will take better pics, but these will get this started.
