This is a very rare citron spangled cochin rooster. Will work good with buff hens or white hens to make silver spangled or golden spangled cochins.

Do you know what colors his sire and dam are? Or is he out of a mixed-color pen?

Not that I'm within driving distance, but I'm also curious - Is he actually of spangled breeding, with the lemon/dilute gene, or is he just a poorly laced bird? He is very pretty!

I got him from a breeder and don't know his exact breeding. I would guess mottling and laced are in the background. He is a dilute of gold. "So probably gold laced in there somewhere." I just thought he was pretty, but I am getting too many projects going and want to focus on my longtails, brahmas, and standard cochins. WE WILL SHIP!
