Rats!!

For those not wishing to harm unintended victims: Rats are known to move their "food finds" to other locations to store it for consumption at a later time and that's when unintended victims can get poisoned. As soon as we rat-proofed our coop there was never another rat.

If your chicken ever gets stuck to a sticky trap all is not lost use a little wd-40 and the adhisive will let go

How do the rats harm the chickens? Do they bite, attack, steal eggs?

I'll always make sure my coop is 100% rat proof.

Biggest problem I find is they steal my birds feed. They also carry diseases. I know alot of people dont agree with me but I keep rat poison out and it has solved my problem. Ive never had ANY of my animals get sick or die from getting into rat poison.
