Hey everybody--
One of my chickens (about 1 yr old) somehow has ended up with a raw patch on its lower chest area/ belly. Her feathers are just gone... sorta looks like a whole chicken you might roast. And it seems to be bloody. Her surrounding feathers are bloody and she has blood on her leg and feet. When I found her she wasn't bleeding, I could just see these two blood spots (large about he size of a salad plate each) in the coop and also dried on her feet. She was running around and acting like nothing was wrong, but the blood and the raw spot seem to indicate otherwise. I pulled her out of the coop and put her in our little chicken tractor to keep her safe from the others... and them safe from her.
What do I do? Why could have caused this
