RAW FISH as source of CHICKEN FOOD

Does anyone feed raw fish to their chickens? If yes, what do you do to the whole fish before giving it to the chickens? I am wondering about this possibility as we have a 5 acre lake on our property. Thank you.

i buy shiners at the hardware store for my ducks, but the chickens like them too!

shiners are a small minnow like fish usually caught for bait.

i should say they are not just raw, but they are alive too
my ducks love them and if a duck catches one then drops it on the ground, the chickens fight over it
i have even seen a couple of my chickens try to catch them out of the pool

smelt are good too
