Raw peanuts

Can you feed chickens raw peanuts? There just plain uncooked peanuts

I have a question... Do you have to break the nut up? I know that their gizzards will grind it, but is there a choking hazzard with a peanut or larger nut like an almond?

They crack the shells and bite on the nut untill it brakes into mangable sized.

Right, they will....I throw the shell and all to ours and they pick them out and eat them.

We have a huge peanut field and they are all ready

We had our first fresh boiled peanuts of the year last night and it was SO GOOD.

I have a bag of black sunflower seeds, I threw a hand full to my chickens and they gobbled them up. I watched and they just picked them up and swallowed them. Think it's ok to keeping them.
