Hi i have chicken eggs in my rcom incubator for 13 days now all seem to be developing nicely, i would like to move the incubator from my barn to another building what i want to know if anyone can tell me is will the incubator keep the settings or.will i have to reset the.programme it will only be unplugged for.5 mins? We are susceptible to powercuts so the new building has a backup battery i want to plug it into. Many thanks

I have not used the make or model of incubator myself, but as far as I know unplugging it should NOT change anything with the settings. The humidity and temperature may drop a little bit during the move, but should return to where it was set at within a short while without you having to do anything.

There are a few BYC'ers that use RCom incubators. One member here that I know of is @Tony K T , he might be able to help you out with your questions.

Thank you, i have decided to leave it where it is until hatch now but thank you for reply.

They should be all set and ready to go when you move them to a new spot.Once you set it,thats it.
