I haven't had experience treating bantams but was gifted some huge Ausralorp roos with severe scaley mites a few years back. I treated them with sheep ivomec orally & soaked the legs quite often with mineral oil ,but think it was time that finally healed them after I killed their parasites. I have also used Ovitrol-dog/horse product off label sparingly on adult birds only that aren't in contact with chicks or laying-with excellent results without oiling the legs. Do Not use Ovitrol on chicks as it will kill them as I sprayed a free range hen & her chicks all died fast. If you use Ovitrol on adult bantams,Just a brief puff under each wing. I also have 13 Pyncheons,mostly chicks . I would love to see pics of yours if you have any to post.
