Hi, My name is Laura and I need to rehome my peacock. He is the offspring of my first peafowl and is 10 years old. This year he has taken to attacking his image in my neighbors black Mercedes. Ouch. I have paid for 1 repair job and cannot afford another. My neighbor will shoot him on sight if he attacks his car again. My peafowl have always been free range. I feel awful but understand that Chester cannot be allowed to destroy property. He lives with a rooster and 2 dogs. All the neighbors enjoy seeing him. Strangers often stop to take photos of him. He has brought pleasure to so many people. Does anyone know where I might take him? I live in Henrico County Va. ( Richmond)

Not sure what to do, You could try hanging flyers in local feed stores. Or maybe call any Zoos near you and see if they'd take him? Sorry to hear you can't keep him, He sounds like a lovely bird~

Awe, I wish I lived closer. I would have loved to take him. We have always wanted some peafowl. Anyways, I wish you luck finding him a new home!

You could put a 'peeper' on him so he would not see his reflection.
