Re-introducing a chicken to her flock

I removed one of my hens from the flock as she was molting badly and the others were pecking her to the point of bleeding. Now, a week later I tried to put her back in with the others and they really went after her and had her bleeding again. Is this normal?

Yes. I have one who got sliced by a rooster who is rehabing in my garage. When she is better, I plan to put her in my smaller pen that shared a fenced side of it's run with the main run. That way, they can visit for a few days and get reaquainted. Could you do something like that for her? Maybe let her free range near your others while they're fenced in for a week or so?

That's a possibility. I would have to divide the yard and bring her in at night as I don't have another coop to keep her in overnight. Thanks for the suggestion.
