re tempreture and hwo much swing is exceptable

im working out the bugs on a DIY incubator and have some temp swing 99 to 86 in 18 to 19 intervals im using a hot water heater tmep controller im using two light ive made a change and put one on the temp controller and now it seemt to with one light holding so fare at about 100 degrees

I had temp swings of 5 degrees either way in my InCubebator. I hatched out two of 12.
