Hello all, just wanted to touch base with alll healthcare workers who also cares for all living things. I have been a nurse for 11 years, and currently working on my MSN, then to FNP. Please share your adventures.

I have always only worked in acute care settings. You are smart to choose to go into FNP especially in geriatrics. I heard the other day that there is going to be a massive shortage in geriatric specialist physicians so FNPs who specialize in that field will have a lot of opportunities to fill in that gap. My mother worked with Alzhiemer's patients until she retired recently. She loved it. It takes a special person to work with those groups.
