Howdy, from a Texas City girl! I was introduced to a program for teachers to hatch eggs in our classroom. I knew this would be an exciting learning adventure for my students, so I am signed up and will have baby chicks in May. Now it's time to start thinking about chickens!! I am wanting to keep some in my backyard, I need chicken raising, egg collecting, chicken coop making, chicken feeding 101!! Oh and ideas to keep the neighbors happy!! (I'm hoping fresh eggs will do the trick!)
