Really bad smell and flies coming from under the coop!

Hi, does anyone have any advice for how to clean under the coop? Ours is raised about 1 foot off the ground but I've since filled in the dirt in the front to level out our yard a little. Now there are flies everywhere and it smells really bad. Could it be a predator that got under and got stuck?

I will try and dig it out a little and see if I can see anything but what can I use in the general area in the soil to stop the smell and flies? Anything I may be able to buy from the local hardware store? Someone mentioned some sort of lime?

I use Stall Dry from TSC, sprinkle it on our run and in the coop itself to control the smell and flies.

Hmmm, we don't have any TSC here, maybe agway will have it?

Stall Dry, DE -Food Grade(Diamatrous Earth sp?) or Sweet PDZ would all work for what you are needing. Hopefully they'll have one of them for you!
