Really Big Turd

A game hen incubating a clutch of eggs came off nest only once each day. When she did she consumed a large portion of what she would have eaten if not incubating. She took only a one potty break each day at that time. Note result; a very big turd. It roughly the size of an egg.

LOL...I have one hen that doesn't poop much over night and will come out of the coop and leave a poop the size of a golf ball each morning. LOL

I got on here this morning to see what I could find about huge chicken poop! WOW, and here it is the first post I see. Just went out this morning to do my usual feeding and such and found a HUGE poo! I took a pic but with my phone so I cannot post it here. I measured with my boot and it took up the whole toe part of my boot!!!! Now, I know, as I do have 2 broody hens I thought it was and egg wrapped in poo, but it was not! Dang, poor girl

Yep, that's what backs up in the system when you hold it that long.

While I've never yet had to deal with one of these suckers from a chicken, I remember when my cockatiel used to go broody. OMG, I had no idea a bird that small could produce a bomb that size and of that stench magnitude!

The smell is as impressive as the poop. My broody used to drop bombs like that. You could smell it metres away.
