I had a similar problem with my girls. I think with no rooster, one or two felt the need to be louder than the others. I ended up finding new homes for my black sex link, and my australorp because they just wouldn't shut up. The egg song is one thing... it has gotten quieter over the last 6 weeks, but these were just chatty ladies. Since they've been gone, things are much better. There's only a bit of chatter that isn't egg related, but it's less audible than before.
My lights come on at 7am, and then off at 9pm. That way I get to see the birds in the evening as well, and they start getting noisy when the city wakes up too. The construction site across the street helps quite a bit to mask the noise.
I will say in the evening, after dusk but before their lights go out, I don't hear anything. They just eat and preen and wind down for the day.
good luck!
