I have 18 eggs in the incubator and only about 1/3 developed.
I had a hen sitting on eggs and not one hatched.
These are our own chicken eggs and 100% have the fertile dot when I am opening them to cook with, so I was confident in their viability.
Last year I hatched 100% of the eggs in the incubator and my hens hatched 100% of their clutches, so I am wondering what could be going wrong now?
It is a different rooster than last year.
Any thoughts would be appreciated, so I can work to fix what might be going on.

Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do.
