Reasons for joining the ABA?

I was looking into joining the American Bantam Association, and since it costs money I want to ask you alls opinions first. Is it worth it? Does it get you any special advantageous of anything? Thank you

In each quarterly I get standards for any newly added breeds or varieties. There are also helpful articles in tne back. The 20.00 annual fee is worth it to me just to have the updates to the SOP.
