Want to put some positivity into my posts on this amazing forum rather than always searching for answers on concerns we see. Since I am an absolute Star Wars nerd (and my partner and I have yet to finalize a name for our homestead), will be posting under "Rebel Roost Squadron".

Just promise not to tell him how many Star Wars inspired names I slipped into our flock? ;D

First flock feature: Echo
1 yr old buff Orpington, complete lap chicken and loves to follow us (me) around in the run.

She was also the first of our flock to lay an egg. (Before that we kind of suspected her to be a rooster since she developed differently than the other buff orpingtons in our flock)
