In the Brooder
Can anyone point me in the right direction to an entry level incubator. I live in Town so it needs to be small scale.
Thanks

How many eggs are you looking to incubate at once and what price range are you looking at to spend? Can anyone point me in the right direction to an entry level incubator. I live in Town so it needs to be small scale.

1-2 dozen, I want something with good quality and results, not sure what that might cost. How many eggs are you looking to incubate at once and what price range are you looking at to spend?
Haha, yeah, that is the best thing for sure. I've got a bunch of young hens, I guess 1 or 2 might get broody.Use a hen.
Well if you aren't looking for something in a certain price range and can afford it, I'd go with the Brinsea (they have a 20 and a 40) The advanced is pretty much set em and forget em. Most Brinsea users swear by their machines and have excellent hatches with little work. The Ecos are good as well, you don't have the all the extras and have to hand turn, but I know Brinsea users with both the eco and the advanced models that love their machines. @scflock could tell you most of what you need to know dealing with Brinsea.1-2 dozen, I want something with good quality and results, not sure what that might cost.
I have always had very good luck with the Hova Bator equipped with an auto turner. Not sure of the model. It keeps consistent temperature and have always had 90% plus hatch.
You're welcome and good luck!Thank you AmyLynn and GeneralHall, I'll check them all out. Big help knowing where to start.
