Recommended feeders for small flock

Hey guys,

My current Omlet feeder is not working very well because one of my hens' heads are too big to fit through the precut hole, so I'm looking for a new feeder.

There doesn't seem to many options online that work for small flocks (most are 40lbs and over) so I was wondering if anyone has used any good feeders for small flocks (I have 4 hens) that also prevent spilling and are easy to clean/move around.

Thank you!

I've been happy with a stainless steel dog dish set into a plastic pail.

The plastic pail stabilizes it and raises it.

I put sand under the dog dish for the first few years to weight it against tipping over but haven't had issues in the past three months while I didn't.

They have never dumped it. I've never seen feed spilled outside the bowl. They have never kicked sawdust into it when it had food in it.

This has worked well for 5 hens for over a year, 4 hens for a year, and 3 hens for about 9 months so far.

This size holds enough food for a little more than 3 days for 3 hens.

Thank you! Your hen is very beautiful:D

I use a 5 gal bucket, with feeding ports (ordered the ports from Amazon, got the bucket from lowes, its a food grade bucket). The ports came with covers that I cover at night, then uncover every morning. I have been using it a couple months now and haven't had any issues. I don't ever fill the bucket to the top, only about half way/a little over half, that way the food don't sit in the bucket for to long.
