Recovered Sick chicken still not laying

Hi all

I have a chicken that recovered from the flu about three weeks ago, and she has only layed two or three times in the last three weeks. Does it take a while for them to get going again?

well she is probably just getting used to laying again. how old is she?

Most chickens die from the flu, how do you know that's what it was? What did you do to treat it and what we're the symptoms? Most sick birds stop laying for a bit longer than that.

thanks for the replies. I took her to the vet and she was on antibiotics for a week and in isolation. I guess I will just have to be more patient
