Recovering hens but found this, normal or worms?

Hi all, can you help me out here? I have 13 hens around 25 weeks old. They’ve all recently been sick with coccidiosis and have been treated with corid. They’re all feeling much better and there’s no longer bloody stools around. However I just found this, is this a worm? Or just nastiness working its way out after being sick. We had 100 degree weather when the sickness hit so it’s been a rough few weeks. They’re now on electrolytes and probiotics.

I don’t see any worms. It might be a mixture of mucus and intestinal lining, plus some material they have eaten earlier. Most times you won’t see worm eggs, but if you feel like worms could be a problem, you can worm them with SafeGuard Liquid Goat Wormer 0.23 ml per pound given orally for 5 straight days. That kills round, cecal, capillary (thread) and gapeworms. Shake the bottle well between doses as it settles.

Thank you. That round piece was a solid longer piece that looked similar to a round worm but still wasn’t sure
