I found this site in a farm article that said they used recycled advertising signs as tarp covers for their machine shed.

They have a lot of different stuff, and it seemed one could use some of it to make chicken coops.

(Admin: I make nothing from this link, and if you need to break the link, you can do so.)

Re-purposed CD rack for roost, flipped it upside down and added longer dowels so hammock would not fall out. Hammock could have been a little wider....next time. :) Have not used it yet. Will let you know if it is well received.

I believe it’s still on here but there was a thread with some amazing ideas and lots of them on this forum. I believe the name I need for it wise what have you re-purposed for your chickens. There was pages and pages of amazing ideas. You could check that out. I bet you’ve got stuff laying around you never thought you could use for that

I had a flat screen tv stand that had a drawer on each end and a cubbie in the middle taking up space in storage. Took the drawers out and the hardware that made them slide put a board across the bottom to keep bedding in and now have nest box. You can see it in the back of this picture. “Curtains” are an old plastic coated Christmas table cloth I had, I really like this because I just take a hand broom and clean the dust off it. And I use the top for storage as I only have Silkies they don’t jump up on things.
