Red and Buff Chicks?

So we have some older Buff Orpingtons and a mix of Cochins (buff, blue, silver laced, and barred) on the farm... But the other day a family member came home with new chicks from TSC.

I can't figure out what they are, can you help?

Maybe Red Sex Link or Rhode Island Reds?

Not sexlinks, those would start off with white flight feathers. Just guessing by the relatively dark shade of red, they're RIR.

Generally RIR develop barring on the wings initially, though the photos are too blurry to see anything for sure I didn't see any barring.

As dark as they are, my first thought was Buckeye but that comb is definitely a single.
