Red combs, and no eggs

My chicks now are all 20-24 weeks. Nothing! Red combs and squatting and nada. What gives? Not enough patience?

Red combs is a sign of being close to the laying age. It may still be a couple weeks though. So, yes you need patience!

I wonder if I have an egg eater. I was getting 7-9 eggs and now 4-5. I saw them eating a soft shelled one a week or two ago. I wonder if they're eating more!
