Red face Buff Orphington 9 weeks old

One of my Buff Orphington pullets has a really red face. Could there be something medically wrong with her? I’ll post her first and then my other Buff Orphingtons for comparison.

Outside chance that 'she' might be a cockerel, but there does not appear to be any thing wrong with the bird.

I had that thought as well, but I would expect her comb and wattles to be much larger?? If she’s a cockerel she could be a late bloomer though.. I’d have to talk to someone who knows a lot about Buffs.

It’s a relief that there’s a possibility it’s not medical tho…

She could be a late blooming cockerel or an early blooming pullet. My buff was clearly a roo at 4 weeks. I see pullet.
