red feet and legs

I know this is a horrible picture, but it was the best I could get. My roo has red all down his legs and on his feet. My husband thinks that is just the color of his legs, but I doubt it. Im just not sure if his legs are being pecked at or something else.

That definitely doesn't look good. How are the scales on his legs? Maybe he has mites? Just a guess. Hopefully someone on here will know what it is. I would separate him until you figure out what it is.

I really dont know what to look for with mites. One of my other roos legs are a little red but not as bad.

leg mites, you could try rubbing so vaseline on. do a search on here it would probably give you more information. I never seen it like yours, but yours really look bad. Good luck!
