Red Feet and up leg is RED

I was just out in the run and noticed that two roosters had red feet. What is this???? And can my hens get it, Lay just started to lay good???? Can this hurt them????????

When a rooster becomes breeding age, the legs can turn red.

Sure hope that it what is. I have eggs in the bator right now that we will find out if this is what it is. The last hatch had one egg from my hens and it worked. Hopping that is what it is.

is he a RIR, both of mine have red going up their legs.

The red going up the leg is a sign of the Mahogany gene, if that is what it is. If you could post a pic it would help.
