Red Golden Bachelors

One of my friends has recently discovered my Red Golden Pheasants. She's in love with the male and has no desire to breed. I've heard of others keeping multiple males together. Is it ok to keep multiple males together as long as no hens are around? Would one male rather be by himself or would he be happier with other males?

You can keep males together most of the time. Throw in the girls and the trouble begins. LOL! I personally hate to see any bird alone.

But mine are ok.I have two males and a female in a single pen.1 is 2yrs old male and another is 1year old.Both are chasing the female.Im a newbie with pheasants.

My female red golden loves 3some.LMFAO!

I have kept just males together all season with no problems, but I too think a single bird is not the way to go. You really need the same amount of space for a single male that you would for a single male and one female so why not go that direction and just ignore the eggs. Or pick a second type and get another male. I would go with a female just for the displays.
