I am considering getting some RJFs this fall and I am trying to locate a source for some decent birds. I have looked at most of the hatcheries and their birds look more like OEGs then RJFs. I am not looking for RJFs that just came off a ship from India or anything. Actually I would like to get some birds that have been here for a few generations and have built up resistance to the climate and disease. I plan to free range them along with other breeds of chickens, so I don't want birds that have to be caged. Any suggestions?
