We had a little celebration today regarding loss of a tooth. Red Lobster was the source of eats. We do not eat in restaurants anymore so did a pickup. Crab, lobster and shrimp figured high on list. Since we consumed at home, leftovers available for others and they had a celebration too. Juvenile chickens were running all over yard carrying the biggest pieces they could carry. Broody hen and her chicks stayed neared dogs crunching on bigger pieces where the chicks were getting right up to dog to get the little pieces of meat. Dogs do not allow the juveniles to come and broody hen runs them off too. A couple more hens also getting what they can but the broody has no tolerance for is. Hens with little bitty chicks (<4 days old) stayed out of the fray.
Tonight raccoons or opossums may come check things out right in the middle of the pens. Dogs will likely have some more fun, hopefully without destroying a pen in the process.
