Red Orpingtons

Hi!

I had a lovely red Orpington cockerel but no red pullets and want to start a new blood line.
Is there another colour I could put him over? I appreciate this might take a long time or is this just a lost cause.......?

Buff. In the second generation you will get reds.

So I put a red cock over Buff pullets to create F1 generation but then put all F1 pullets back to the red Cock again to create F2 reds?

I did get a red Orpington from Mt Healthy and she’s gorgeous. Huge and fluffy. I think they’re sold out for the year though.
