Red Paint Silkie?

Is this possibly a Red Paint or just a messed up buff. I saw one on another thread looking exactly the same.

It depends on the genetic make-up of the bird. From what I understand you need dominant white to produce the paints. Most white silkies are recessive white-which keeps the bird white. Dominant allows leakage. It's really hard to say what exactly you have with out knowing the lineage of the parents.
